President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky instructed the government to boost the negotiation process on the international arena, when it comes to provision of anti-coronavirus vaccine - if it's invented and produced at some point. The press service of the President's Office reported this on June 16.
"Ukraine has to gain access to the vaccine just like other countries, as soon as it's ready. We're in good relations with the EU. Follow the developments of the vaccine against coronavirus", the President said.
Previously, Zelensky claimed that the government may implement obligatory inoculations, if massive spread of the infectious disease is observed in the country.
As of early June 16, there are 33,209 cases of coronavirus in Ukraine. 15,054 of those recovered, and 922 succumbed to the disease.
Currently, there are 143 cases of coronavirus infection observed at the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Six people were diagnosed with Covid-19 in 24 hours, as the Medical Forces reported.
“During the past 24 hours, six new cases of infection with acute respiratory disease Covid-19 were registered. One military was hospitalized to the National military and medical clinical center. The state of health of the patient is satisfactory; he gets the necessary treatment,” the message said.
Four lethal cases were registered in the army since the beginning of the epidemic. 209 overcame the coronavirus disease.
As of now, 541 people stay in self-isolation. The isolation of 95 people will end in the next three days.
