Ukraine is among TOP-3 in providing Czech Republic with medical staff

Over 3,200 doctors with foreign diploma work in the Czech Republic

Ukraine is among the top three countries, which provide the Czech Republic with staff in medicine, as Radio Praha reports.  

“We benefit from the fact that these specialists will learn the Czech language and stay here. The main thing is that we should become the transloading station through which they will come to Germany or Austria,” Mikhal Soika, the members of the Czech Medical Chamber.

According to the Medical Chamber, over 3,200 doctors with foreign diploma work in the Czech Republic. Mostly, they come from Slovakia, Ukraine, and Russia. Doctors from Poland and Belarus follow them.

Soika thinks that the flow of the doctors from the mentioned states caused by the worst state of the medicine.

As we reported the Czech Police on Foreigners detained 4,992 illegal migrants in 2018, most of whom were citizens of Ukraine

Besides, the Ukrainian population may reduce by 18% by 2050 and reach number mark of 36 million people due to the labor migration.

Moreover, it was reported that the number of labor migrants from Ukraine in Poland has increased in five times since 2014: from 300,000 up to 1,5 million.
