Ukrainian hospitals, laboratory centers, and health institutions are getting prepared for the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. It was announced by Health Minister Maksym Stepanov during a briefing that was broadcasted by 112 Ukraine TV channel.
"This applies not only to laboratory centers or the availability of test systems but also to the readiness of our hospitals and doctors for such challenges. It cannot even be compared to what we had in early March. Today, if we talk about test systems, all laboratory centers are provided with a monthly supply at full capacity. This is the level we maintain," he said.
According to the minister, if there is a problem with testing somewhere, the test systems are delivered immediately so that it does not affect patients in any way.
As we reported earlier, 564 new cases of the coronavirus infection have been observed in Ukraine over the last 24 hours.
1283 people have died as a result of complications caused by the disease. 22,193 patients, however, have already recovered.
