The Ukrainian government plans to maintain the record of individuals vaccinated against coronavirus. Chief Sanitary Doctor of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko said so in his interview with LB.ua.
The first stage of vaccination is supposed to begin in February, as soon as the vaccine from coronavirus appears in this country. 375 mobile crews will be performing inoculations.
"On January 15, we will have a list of names. We're currently working with the National Service of Healthcare of Ukraine and Finance Ministry so as to cover the cost of every inoculation. We know how every vaccinated person will be listed in the digital system of healthcare, and what kind of payment will follow that", Lyashko said.
He also added that there has been no official appeal for registration of the vaccine in Ukraine; however, the government negotiates with all the producers.
Previously, the official said that the government considers the introduction of vaccination passports in Ukraine. If this passport is introduced, the ID will only be issued to a person who was inoculated with the WHO-approved vaccine.
