Ukraine intends to implement the united 112 emergency service in the near future as Tatiana Kovalchuk, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs claimed this at the session of the Ukrainian government.

The creation of such service is provided by the 2020 Development Strategy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Moreover, the Interior Ministry noted that it intends to reform the police of the preventive activity and implement the Institute of Criminal Offense.

There was an attempt to launch 112 emergency service within the holding of the Euro-2012 in Ukraine. The tender for the purchase of the proper equipment and work was held but the launch of the program was stopped due to the lack of the financing.
