“The report is based on 130 quantitative and qualitative parameters in such categories as quarantine efficiency, monitoring and detection, healthcare readiness and government efficiency,” the message said.
According to the published date, Ukraine occupies the 66th position in the rating of the safest countries amid Covid-19. Russia and Belarus are ahead of Ukraine, occupying the 61st and 63rd place. Poland is in 28th place.
Ukraine stays at the third level (out of four possible) along with 60 countries, which scored much less favorable results during the analysis of efficiency of quarantine, efficiency and risk management of the government, efficiency of monitoring, healthcare readiness, region vulnerability and emergency preparedness.
Thus, the less favorable result of Ukraine is observed at the emergency preparedness – 57 points; however, Ukraine received a high score (118 out of 200 possible) for efficiency and risk management of the government. The region vulnerability and healthcare readiness were assessed in 77 points; while the efficiency of quarantine got 99 points.
Switzerland, Germany and Israel entered TOP3 of the safest countries. Singapore, Japan, Austria, China, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea were included in TOP10 states.
As of June 10, Ukrainian medics have observed 28,381 cases of coronavirus across the country. 525 new cases were confirmed over June 9. 833 people succumbed to the disease since the epidemic reached Ukraine. 12,769 managed to recover.
