Ukrainian Healthcare Ministry currently negotiates with other states on the supply of vaccines in 2022-2023; it also gets prepared for the implementation of annual vaccination of population against coronavirus. Viktor Lyashko, the Healthcare Minister of Ukraine reported that in an interview with NV.

According to the official, experts are now looking into the issue of launch of the annual vaccination in Ukraine.

'We're getting ready for it (the annual vaccination, - 112 International) and simultaneously negotiate about signing deals for the supply of vaccines in 2022-2023", Lyashko said.

He added that the Ministry already turned to technical group of experts, which works together with the world community and tracks all clinical studies about the longevity of the immunity.

"As soon as we get clear confirmations and the understanding that the immunity lasts for a year or two, the Ministry will build its strategy on the annual vaccination and the period when it's best to get vaccinated", the Minister said.
