"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Health should prepare proposals on the rationale of introducing additional controls and restrictions on migration between Ukraine and countries where the Delta strain is spreading rapidly," the statement said.

As it was reported earlier, the press service of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine stated that the Delta coronavirus strain can spread faster in Ukraine than in its western neighbors and have more serious consequences due to the low level of vaccination of the population and large migration from the Russian Federation.
