Volunteer Ukraine

Today, Ukraine joins the world-wide celebrations of the International Volunteer Day. Thousands of common Ukrainian citizens have been supporting the troops in the hour of need since the very first days of the ongoing Russian aggression.

President Petro Poroshenko congratulated the Ukrainian volunteers on their holiday. ‘I’m greatly pleased to congratulate everyone who follows one’s heart to support the others. It’s been several years that the volunteers have been inspiring and motivating many people for changes within the society. This movement was born and has grown and changed during the Revolution of Dignity and the ongoing Russian aggression. Thanks to you, the defenders of territorial integrity and independence of our state feel your care and nurturance. Your power of spirit and the unbreakable nature is the basis of building a prosperous Ukraine. I wish you and your families strong health, wealth and peace,’ reads the note at the president’s website.
