Ukraine ranks one of the last lines in the ranking of tracking vaccination rates by country - between Trinidad and Tobago and Djibouti. The New York Times published such data.

In the published ranking, Ukraine (1,2% of the population vaccinated) was overtaken by Kenya (1,5% of the population vaccinated), Paraguay (1,4%), Uzbekistan (1,4%), Angola (1,3%) and Trinidad and Tobago (1,2%). After - Djibouti (1,1%) and Guinea (1,0%).

Seychelles (69% of the population), Israel (61%) and the UAE (39%) are leading the ranking.

“More than 1.04 billion vaccine doses have been administered worldwide, equal to 14 doses for every 100 people. There is already a stark gap between vaccination programs in different countries, with some yet to report a single dose,” the publication writes.

As it was reported, the Minister of Health of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov talked about the development of a Ukrainian vaccine against coronavirus. He said there are two candidates for the vaccine.
