The UNICEF made the rating of the countries with the worst indicators. The UNICEF recommends vaccinating to prevent the infection with measles as there are no medicines against it. The vaccination is the only variant, which can secure a person.
- the vaccines are safe and effective;
- all children should be vaccinated at the age of 6 months up to 5 years during the outbreaks;
- it is necessary to educate and equip doctors to get the quality service;
- it is necessary to enhance the programs of the immunization for the supply of the vaccines.
As we reported, seven people died from the complications caused by measles in Ukraine since the beginning of 2019.
