Ukraine gets over 500,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine from Denmark

509,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine provided by Denmark have arrived in Ukraine as the Health Ministry of Ukraine reported on Facebook.

“Today, Ukraine received 509,400 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine provided by Denmark. This supply is the direct aid to Ukraine from the government of Denmark that plans to pass to different countries 3 million doses of the vaccine against Covid-19 until the end of 2021,” the message says.

The vaccine from this supply can be used for the vaccination of people, who should get the second dose of the AstraZeneca; other doses will be distributed between the vaccination.

As we reported, the government of Lithuania will allocate 131,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine to Ukraine.
