Ukraine extradites two international criminals to Hungary

June 14, police extradited two criminals, who were declared internationally wanted, from Ukraine to Hungary. This was reported by the press service of the National Police of the Zakarpattia region on Facebook.

"A 39-year-old Moldovan citizen and a 49-year-old Hungarian man were extradited to Hungary on July 13," the statement said.

The Hungarian was detained by operatives of the Criminal Investigation Department of the International Police Cooperation Sector, together with police officers, on June 10, in the town of Berehove. He was on the international wanted list for committing a number of crimes and was hiding in Transcarpathia.

The second foreigner was detained by the police of the Chernivtsi region. He hid to avoid responsibility for the thefts.

As we reported earlier, workers of the State Security Service (SBU) of Ukraine detained an agent of Russian special service in Severodonetsk, Luhansk region.

He was supposed to conduct a terrorist act, blowing up ammonium tanks on the premises of JSC "Siverodonetske Union Azot."
