Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba commented on the provisions of the agreement of the new German coalition that concern Ukraine and Russia. The top-level Ukrainian diplomat approved these parts of the deal.

"The formulations about Russia are quite clear", he said.

The official insisted he expected no radical changes or corrections in the German external policy concerning Ukraine.

"Actually, the coalition agreement confirms it. It says Germany will suppoty Ukraine's territorial integrity; it says so, and it's important...  the text of coalition agreement confirms the support of Ukraine's European aspirations", Kuleba said.

He also added that Ukraine would like to see Germany's clearer position on the Nord Stream 2. "I am well-adjusted when evaluating the part [of provisions] dedicated to energy projects that are being implemented in Europe... But we understand that coalition agreement is always a certain give and take", the Minister concluded.
