"Ukraina" department store in Kyiv evacuated due to mining threat

The National Police has evacuated "Ukraina" department store because of the report on mining. The security of the department store claimed this to Ukrinform. 

As of now, all entrances are blocked, people are evacuated.

Reportedly, an explosion on the sixth armory occurred in Ichnia, Chernihiv region, on October 9. 

The air-space within 30 km was shut down, traffic and railway movement were stopped due to the emergency situation.  

Ukraine’s Defence Ministry reports that as of 7 am, October 9, the intensity of the explosions was 2-3 explosions per second.

Reportedly, the Military Prosecutor’s Office of the Central Region opened a criminal proceeding on the case of explosions on the ammunition depot in Ichnia.  

Later the State Emergency Service reported that over 12,000 people were evacuated from Ichnia and the adjacent localities within the radius of 16 kilometers.
