Ukraine has asked the representatives of Canada to provide it with a batch of coronavirus vaccine. This is stated by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine following the meeting of Deputy Minister Yevhen Yenin with the Ambassador of Canada Larisa Galadza.
“I turned to our Canadian partners with a request to help in obtaining a batch of Covid-19 vaccine for Ukrainian citizens,” Yenin said.
Canada has purchased the amount of vaccine that will allow the entire population to be vaccinated several times.
As we reported earlier, British regulators warned that people who have a history of serious allergic reactions shouldn’t receive the new Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine as they investigate two adverse reactions that occurred on the first day of the country’s mass vaccination program.
The two National Health Service (NHS) staff members had a reaction shortly after having the new jab, had treatment and are both fine now.
In the meantime, the regulator has issued the warning for anyone who has had a significant allergic reaction to a vaccine, medicine or food.
