Ukraine approves list of jobs, in which vaccination is compulsory

Ukraine's Healthcare Ministry has approved the list of jobs where the workers are obliged to get vaccinated. The compulsory vaccination campaign among these people should be over within a month, the Ministry's press office reports.

According to the law, the vaccination is compulsory for the following categories of people:

  • employees of the central governmental authorities and their territorial branches;
  • regional state administrations and their subdivisions;
  • workers of education institutions of all levels, regardless their kind of ownership.

The decree takes effect one month since the moment of its release.

According to Viktor Lyashko, the Healthcare Minister, the workers who don't get vaccinated during this month will be suspended from work, and they will not be paid their salaries. The official added that later, the compulsory vaccination will be conducted for workers of all state administrations, organizations and enterprises, social workers and mail service workers.
