Two elderly women were blown up on a mine in the Donetsk region - in a controlled by DNR militants city of Khartsyzsk. This is stated in the report of the OSCE SMM.

It is noted that two women of 60 years and 56 years old from Donetsk "were injured as a result of an explosion of a device in the vicinity of Armed Forces of Ukraine checkpoint  north of the government-controlled village of Berezove (31 km north-west of Donetsk)."

"According to the medical staff, the women went to the government-controlled areas by bus and went into a forest near the checkpoint, where a 56-year-old woman touched an explosive device, from the explosion of which she received shrapnel injuries to the legs, trunk, hands and head," the OSCE reported.

It is reported that the second woman at that time was at a distance of about 20 meters from the site of the explosion and received shrapnel wounds to the left leg. The paramedics reported that the servicemen provided first aid to women at the scene, and then the ambulance brought them to the hospital. The condition of both women is satisfactory.
