Law enforcers busted the culprit

Ukrainian law enforcers blocked the channel of smuggling weapons and explosives. The culprits appeared to be two officers of the Armed Forces. Office of Prosecutor General of Ukraine opened the case on this violation; the press department of the authority reported that on December 8. 

"In Odesa region, a group of individuals was involved in illegal storage, procurement and smuggling of ammunition and explosive items without the legally approved license", reads the message.

As the law enforcers seized the arms cache, they documented the smuggling of AKS-74U assault rifle, a 9-mm home-made handgun reprocessed from a 9-mm Makarov; more than 75 9x18mm rounds; over 2,600 rounds of caliber 5.45x39 mm; more than 2,100 rounds of 7.62 mm; 10 fuzes for hand grenades; 200 gram of TNT, 15 rounds to Degtyarev-Shpagin machine gun; five F-1 grenades; three smoke pellets and body armor.

The criminals received USD 15,000.
