Two-thirds of thermal power plants (TPP) and nuclear power plants (NPP) have been disconnected from the energy system in Ukraine, on July 9. Relevant data are published on the Ukrenergo website.

As of Friday morning, July 9, only 26 out of 78 power units of thermal power plants are in operation. Slovyanska TPP is completely disconnected from the power system. Kharkiv cogeneration station-5 and Kyiv cogeneration plant-6 are also out of order.

In addition, as of the morning of July 9, 5 of 15 units of nuclear power plants are not connected to the power system. At least one unit is disconnected at Khmelnytsky, Rivne, South-Ukrainian plants; two units do not work at Zaporizhzhia NPP.

As it was reported earlier, 68 out of 75 power units of thermal power plants are operated beyond the deadline set by the project, and 95% of distribution electricity networks are in poor condition.
