Two prisoners die in colony of self-proclaimed “Luhansk People's Republic”

Two prisoners died in the prison colony No.19 in Khrustalny (former Krasnyi Luch), Luhansk region, in the temporarily occupied territory of Donbas. Pavlo Lysyansky, the representative of the ombudsman in Donbas reported that on his Facebook page.

“Group fatal casualty occurred yesterday in prison colony No.19 (Khrustalny, uncontrolled territory of Luhansk region). Two prisoners died while performing the jobs,” he wrote.

The representative of the ombudsman addressed the UN monitoring mission to visit the penalty facility to document the situation.

“These prisoners are humans first of all…” Lysyansky writes.
