Two more bodies were found under the rubble of the burnt-out building of Odesa College on December 11, late in the evening. The press service of the State Emergency Service reports about it.
The message states that the bodies have not been identified.
"As of 07:00 am, December 12, emergency measures are being taken to eliminate the fire-related emergency situation at the Odesa College of Economics, law and hotel and restaurant business. Works on the dismantling of the emergency wall and the collapsing of dangerous structures are being executed using a crane and a suspension cradle, cleaning works are also being carried out ... State Emergency Service’s psychologists are constantly working to provide support to the relatives of the dead and the missing. 16 people died due to the fire, 30 people were injured (8 people remain in hospitals)," the message informs.
As we reported earlier, Odesa College of Economics, law and hotel and restaurant business was on fire as the State Emergency Service informed.
“On December 4, at 10:12 a.m. the fire occurred at Odesa college for economics, law and hotel and catering business at the third floor of the six-story building,” the message said.
The approximate fire area was 700 square meters.
