Twitter found another few thousand accounts with Russian propaganda

Twitter has informed almost 700,000 users that they have been reading propaganda on U.S. presidential election

The administration of Twitter informed that they found additional 1,062 accounts that shared political ads and are associated with Russian government-linked organization known as the Internet Research Agency (IRA), according to their blog.

The social network notified 677,775 users that they retweeted and liked posts of propaganda accounts.

“Through our supplemental analysis, we have identified 13,512 additional accounts, for a total of 50,258 automated accounts that we identified as Russian-linked and Twitting election-related content during the election period,” the report also said.

Previously NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence informed that 60% of Russian-language accounts on Twitter look automatized, meaning they are bots.
