In Odesa, a twenty-story residential building caught fire. The State Emergency Situations Service of Ukraine reports this in the Telegram channel.
"On August 14, the State Emergency Service received information that in the city of Odesa, at 60 Marselskaya Street, a fire broke out in an electrical control room in a twenty-storey residential building, followed by spreading through an electric mine from the second to the ninth floor," the message says.
43 personnel and 12 units of State Emergency Service equipment arrived at the scene.
The residents of the house were evacuated. At 23:32 the fire was contained, and at 23:57 it was extinguished. Previously, there were no victims or injured.
As we reported before, an apartment is on fire on Mykoly Zakrevskoho Street in Kyiv. A woman died as a result of the incident.
A 77-year-old woman was burned alive.
"A fire occurred on Mykoly Zakrevskoho Street 77, on the eighth floor. There was an old woman. Rescuers were sent to the scene, a ladder was immediately installed in order to save her. Firefighters tried to persuade the woman to climb the ladder, but she did not want to, she was in inadequate and shocked condition, she pushed the rescuer away," the report reads.
