Turkish Airlines cargo plane fell near Bishkek village (Kyrgyzstan). The plane was on its way from Hong Kong. It crashed while landing at Manas airport in the capital of Kyrgyzstan. Two houses are burning in the crash area.
This was reported by RIA news daily, referring to Head of the Center on Crisis Management of the Emergency Service of Kyrgyzstan Mohammed Svarov.
“A cargo plane of Turkish airlines that was on its way from Hong Kong crashed while landing at Manas airport in the capital of Kyrgyzstan because of bad weather conditions. Two houses, situated in dacha area are burning in the place where the crash happened,” Svarov said.
The incident occurred at 3:31 Kyiv time.
The plane belongs to Turkish airlines, according to the preliminary information.
It is unknown what happened to the crew. Presumably, the crew of the plane consisted of two pilots and technical staff. In total there were four people.
Four fire teams are working in the area of crash.
