Turkey gradually mitigates quarantine restrictions from May 17 due to the decrease of coronavirus cases as Anadolu reported.

The ban for leaving the house is lifted for people at the age of over 65 if they are vaccinated. There will be no special restrictions for underage.

The cafes and restaurants will be able to work for take-out and delivery only on weekdays from 07:00 a.m. until 08:00 p.m.; from 07:00 a.m. until midnight on weekends. Shopping malls will work from 10:00 a.m. until 08:00 p.m. on weekdays but they will be closed on weekends. Other establishments will remain closed.

Curfew in Turkey will continue to act. It is provided on weekdays and weekends from 09:00 p.m. until 05:00 a.m.

Such rules will act at least until June 1.

The lockdown in Turkey was introduced on April 29; it is supposed to last until May 17. The intercity travels were allowed only with the presence of special permission and public transport worked with 50% capacity. Kindergartens and higher education establishments were closed.
