Truck crashed into minibus near Kyiv, six people injured

A truck crashed into a minibus with passengers on the Boryspil highway in Kyiv region. As a result of an accident, six people were injured, Kyiv Operatyvnyi reports on Facebook.

The accident occurred when the bus drove away from the stop in the Shchastlyve village. In addition to the bus, several cars were damaged.

All passengers are alive, and the medical assistance was provided on the spot. One woman was clamped in the bus. and the rescuers used special equipment to help her.

The woman was taken to the hospital.

Earlier, as a result of the car accident near Denyshi village, Zhytomyr region, one man died, seven sustained injuries, reported the press office of the National Police in Zhytomyr region. 

‘The accident occurred at about 3:30 p.m. on the 21st kilometer of the highway near Denyshi village. The investigation established that the driver of the Opel Astra, 41-year-old resident of Kyiv, drove on oncoming traffic line and crashed into the VAZ 2104 steered by the 26-year-old resident of Zhytomyr,’ reads the message.

As a result, the passenger of the VAZ died. The drivers of both cars, passengers of the Opel, including three children aged from six to nine years old were delivered to a hospital.
