A road accident occurred in Kovyari village, Lviv region, western Ukraine. The press service of the regional police branch reported that on Monday morning.
The collision occurred at a roadway from Kyiv to Chop. A 37-year-old local resident who drove the Volkswagen Passat was driving the main road when he violated the road traffic rules. The car ran into a BMW, driven by another local resident, and then hit a Mercedes-Benz. Volkswagen's driver, his wife and two daughters were taken to a hospital.
The other two drivers and two BMW passengers also suffered injuries and ended up in a hospital.
Earlier, a Honda Accord driver provoked an accident in the Ukrainian capital on Sunday night, crashing seven cars at a time. The crash and the subsequent detention took place near the Dream Town mall. According to the police, Honda Accord driver who had EU license plates crashed into a parked Skoda Octavia. The impact threw Honda into a moving Volkswagen Passat, which was mowing in the other lane, and then both cars landed at a parking lot of Dream Town. There, they clashed with another four parked cars.
