The prosecutor’s office of the annexed Crimea has opened criminal proceedings in connection with the illegal crossing of the Ukrainian border by train on the Kerch bridge. The representative office of the Ukrainian presidency in the Crimea reports.

"During the pre-trial investigation, a legal assessment will also be given of the illegal launch of railway communication between the Russian Federation and the Crimean peninsula, since such actions of the occupying country flagrantly violate the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, indicate a neglect of universally recognized principles and norms of international law," – the message noted.

Information was entered into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under the article "Illegal Transfer of Persons across the State Border of Ukraine".

As we reported, First train passed through Crimean Bridge, which followed from St. Petersburg to Sevastopol.
