Toxic chemicals are detected in the air in the Kherson region. Oleh Slobodyan, Representative of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine claimed this on Facebook.

‘Today, at about 3 p.m., the border guards of the Kherson detachment detected the presence of chemicals in the air during the measurement of the air chemistry. The equipment showed the excess of chemicals (toxic industrial chemicals),’ Slobodyan advised.

According to him, the local authorities, the State Emergency Services, and other law enforcement bodies are informed of this.

Also, amendments in the organization of the border patrol service are introduced, the border guards are continuing to monitor the situation with their jurisdiction.

As it was reported earlier, an unknown substance was discharged in the air in the North Crimea. It was noted that a greasy mud with a yellow shade appeared on metallic objects, roofs, and leaves on the trees.

Later, Sergey Aksyonov, “head” of the annexed Crimea claimed that the situation with the discharge of the unknown substance in the air goes beyond the norms.
