Tourists hospitalized in Kyiv with suspicion for coronavirus were not infected

In Kyiv, two patients of the Oleksandrivsky Hospital, who were hospitalized with suspected new coronavirus did not show any signs of the disease. The Ministry of Health's Facebook page reported that.

"According to the results of a medical examination and consultations of two patients who are in the Oleksandrivsky Hospital in Kyiv, there was no suspicion of infection caused by 2019-nCoV. Laboratory tests are being conducted to establish the etiology," the statement said.

Suspicion was also rejected in three more cases of people who returned from China; they were diagnosed with adenovirus infection.

As we reported, in Zhytomyr, a girl was hospitalized upon the return from other regions of China; she was put for treatment in a hospital and had 15 tests.

It is noted that the child was hospitalized in the infectious ward of the Children's Hospital.
