Ukraine is developing tourist routes for residents of temporarily uncontrolled territories of Donbas. This was reported by the correspondent of Pershiy Nezalezhniy TV channel.

"The idea of creating a tourist route specifically for residents of uncontrolled territories in the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions that are controlled by Ukraine, and later in the western regions, was welcomed by the residents, in particular by the Lysychansk residents," the correspondent reports.

It is reported that people would like to travel freely around the country, in particular in Donbas, to see the relatives.

However, most people admit the fact that the region is depressive, there are problems with closed checkpoints, shelling, destroyed infrastructure.

"And what to show here? Our ruins? There is nothing to show here at all. If you show the devastation and dirt in the city, there will be good sights then," one of the respondents noted.

Earlier, the new tourist project on the free part of Donbas was named Donbass travel. The project plans to develop interesting routes and invite Ukrainians from the temporarily occupied territories to the free part of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

Similar projects are also being prepared in Kherson region, which, by analogy with Donbas, will be aimed at residents of the occupied Crimea.
