According to Lukich, the members of the tour will visit the places where the film was shot and they will be attracted by different interactive activities based on the movie.
“It will be a cool, entertaining and informative tour that will be combined with the lectures about cinema, how it was shot and visiting the key places of our heroes’ route. It will start with cherry blossom and then they will see Zakarpattia as it is depicted in the movie,” Lukich said.
Besides, the movie director called his favorite place in Zakarpattia.
“There are so many places but the most favorite; the best place on the earth is the thermal waters in Kosyno. It is a fantastic place,” he added.
In Ukraine, the film was first shown during the 10th Odesa International Film Festival. The picture claimed several prizes. My Thoughts Are Silent reached cinemas all over Ukraine on January 16, 2020. The box office totaled some 357,000 U.S. dollars.
The tragic comedy My Thoughts Are Silent, which was Lukich’ first feature film is a story about a young soundman Vadym. After failures at work and in his personal life, Vadym got a chance to start over. A simple task – to record the voices of Zakarpattia animals – might give him an opportunity to leave “uncomfortable Ukraine” and move to “attractive Canada”. Far away from the problems. Yet, things get worse when his mother becomes his fellow in his new work.
