In Ukraine, the tourism industry will be developed according to the standards of the European Union as Head of the State Agency of Tourism Development Mariana Oleskiv stated.
“A European tourist should understand that the Ukrainian tourism sphere corresponds to the EU standards. The changes do not take place in a moment but we should work on the adaptation of the Ukrainian legislation and focus on the European experience of the work of the hospitality industry,” Oleskiv said.
According to her, in Ukraine, there are many tourist magnets, which can be developed and simultaneously fulfill our commitments within the Association Agreement Ukraine-EU. Besides, she is focused on the issue that the development of tourism in Ukraine is an unconditional priority.
As we reported, the European Commission launched a special web platform called Re-open EU, which will help to track the safe renewal of tourism all over Europe.
