On March 4, the number of newly vaccinated people in Ukraine increased by 2,913. Coronavirus_Info Telegram channel reported that on Friday morning.
As of today, the overall number of vaccinated people in Ukraine exceeds 12,000. The largest number of vaccinations were performed in Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions (1,110 in each region), the smallest in Zakarpattya region (244).
On Thursday, the Ministry renewed the list of the ‘red’, ‘orange’ and ‘yellow’ zones of the epidemic security on the incidence rate with Covid-19, hospitalization level and occupancy of hospitals. Three regions are in the ‘red’ zone, while Kyiv stays in the ‘yellow’ zone.
Thus, Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi regions are in the ‘red’ zone. Vinnytsia, Donetsk, Zakarpattia, Zaporizhia, Kyiv, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Sumy and Ternopil regions are in the ‘orange’ zone.
Other regions and Kyiv stay in the ‘yellow’ zone.
Earlier, the WHO stated that governments don't need to introduce Covid-19 vaccination passports just yet. The WHO cooperates with all countries that show interest in this initiative; the Organization will later give recommendations about what kind of information should be in these documents.
