Ukrainian President

Reunion of Donbas and Crimea with the rest of Ukraine

I’d like to congratulate on this day Ukrainian patriots in the annexed Crimea and the occupied Donbas. We love you, dear ones, and we remember about you, and we’re persistently fighting for your return to Ukraine. And, let me reaffirm, we’re doing this by means of policy and diplomacy.

Meaning of the military parade for Ukraine’s enemy

This parade is a signal to the enemy. Ukrainians are really serious about keeping on struggling for their independence.

War in Donbas and losses of the Ukrainian military

Having taken a glimpse on the past – which is more than two years of war, - one can surely say that the enemy failed to complete even one strategic task; it failed to bring Ukraine down on its knees. 2,504 Ukrainian warriors gave their lives for that. We bow our heads to those who gave their lives for the peaceful future of Ukraine.

The price of Ukraine’s independence

In classrooms, in kitchens, in social networks, people keep arguing how we got this independence – by chance or by force. To me, the answer is obvious – we gained it in the struggle, with our intellect, sweat and blood. Eternal memory and glory to the heroes who perished in battles for our free and independent Ukraine!
