The National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting should apply to the Kyiv District Administrative Court with a court appeal to annul the license of the NewsOne TV channel shortly. The case is under control of the Office of the President, Strana.ua reports citing the sources among the judges. According to them, the Office of the President has already communicated with the administration of the District Court and the Sixth Administrative Court of Appeal, and they now have to approve the court decision of the first instance.
"Both courts were given the task to consider the court appeal by the National Council of Television and Radio Broadcasting within the shortest possible time and to revoke the NewsOne TV Channel of their license," the source said.
As we reported earlier, the National Council of Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine has found NewsOne TV channel guilty of incitement to racial or national hatred and decided to file a suit to deprive the channel of its license.
