Three new Ukrainian films will be presented at the Eastern Neighbors Film Festival in the Netherlands. It was reported by Ukrainian State Film Agency on its Facebook page.
The film-opening of the festival will be a documentary "My Granny from Mars" directed by Alexander Mihalkovich.
Viewers will be able to see Roman Bondarchuk's movie "Volcano" as a part of the Current Relevant Cinema program.
In addition, there will be a screening of the documentary "The Story of the Winter Garden" directed by Semen Mozgovyi within the framework of ENFF On Tour.
This year, the Eastern Neighbors Film Festival (ENFF) will be held on November 6-10, at the Filmhuis Den Haag Cultural Center in The Hague, The Netherlands. Every year, this festival brings the best recent films from Eastern European countries to the program in order to get viewers to know the culture of its eastern neighbors.
As we reported earlier, Nariman Aliyev's feature film "Homeward", the winner of the national film critics' award "Kinicolo", also won two awards at the VII International Bosphorus Film Festival in Istanbul.
"Friends, we have good news! "Homeward" is recognized as the Best International Feature Film of the 7th International Bosphorus Film Festival! And the award for Best Actor was given to Akhtem Seitablayev," the statement reads.
