Police found the bodies of three children born in 2014 who drowned in a pond in one of the villages of the Zaporizhia region. The press service of the local police reports.

"On February 8, medical workers pronounced three young children in one of the villages of the Zaporizhia region dead. The police department, the investigative-operational group, and the juvenile prevention officers went to the scene," the statement reads.

It is established that two boys and a girl died. They went for a walk together and did not return home for a long time. Parents began their own searches for the children and discovered the bodies. They called an ambulance but failed to save the children. Police are investigating all the details of the incident.

The service explained that due to the ebb and the "squeeze wind" 20 meters from the shore, an ice crack formed up to 10 meters wide, as a result, about 600 fishermen were cut off from the shore.
