Thirteen trucks carrying humanitarian aid provided by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees have passed through the Novotroyitske checkpoint in the Volnovakha district on their way to militant-controlled territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the press service of the State Border Service of Ukraine said on Friday.

"Thirteen trucks with humanitarian aid from the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees have passed through the Novotroyitske checkpoint and are now heading to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine," the message says.

It is also noted that the trucks are carrying 187 tonnes of construction materials.

As it was reported earlier, a convoy of trucks with humanitarian cargo arrived in the occupied Donbas. Seven trucks from UN Refugee Agency proceeded across Novotroitske checkpoint on July 19.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has met with the USA Special Representative on business in Ukraine Kurt Volker and the United States Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland on July 26.

Zelensky thanked the American side for the consistent support and efforts aimed at achieving peace in Donbas. Besides, the President discussed with the representatives of the USA Administration the current situation in the JFO area, particularly separation of forces and means around Stanytsia Luhanska.
