In the Transcarpathian region there was a murder motivated by jealousy. The press service of the National Police reports.

“On March 21, at about 6:00 in the morning, a 41-year-old local resident contacted the police and said that she had found her friend dead. The applicant said that they, along with her roommate and 52-year-old dead woman, drank alcohol on the eve, and then the latter went to bed to another room," - the message said.

According to the police, it was established at the scene that the applicant did not report all the circumstances of the incident and tried to hide the crime committed by her.

“The conflict arose between the women because of jealousy of the man who was with them that evening. The verbal conflict eventually developed into the applicant’s bodily injury, after which the 52-year-old victim did go to another room to sleep. However, the 41-year-old woman I didn’t calm down and introduced an unidentified object into the sleeping body," - the investigators established.

It is noted that, through her deliberate actions, the woman inflicted injured injuries incompatible with life. This was confirmed by the conclusions of the forensic medical examination.

"Police officers detained a 41-year-old carriage and placed in a temporary detention center. She has already been suspected of committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 121 of the Criminal Code (intentional grievous bodily harm that resulted in the death of the victim). Now the police are preparing a petition for the investigative judge to select a measure of restraint for the detained. The investigation will insist on detention without the possibility of making bail," - the report said.
