There are no Ukrainians infected with new strain of coronavirus in China, - National Health Commission of China

 There are no citizens of Ukraine among pneumonia infected with the new coronavirus in China, despite the fact that at least 93 people are still there.  The press service of the Embassy of Ukraine in China on its Facebook page reports, citing data from the National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China.

 "As of January 30, 2020, according to information from the National Health Commission of the PRC, there are no citizens of Ukraine among those infected with a new strain of coronavirus (2019-nCoV) in China," - the report said.

 It is also noted that as of Friday, January 31, 93 people applied to the Ukrainian Embassy in the PRC with a statement on acceptance for temporary consular registration.

As we reported before, the first flight went to China for evacuation of Ukrainians. The plane will take 200 citizens from Sanya resort. Ukraine International Airlines Company performs the flight.

The flight will last for about ten hours.

The World Health Organization believes that Ukraine might cope with the epidemic of coronavirus. Jarno Habicht, the WHO representative in Ukraine said so during the briefing in Kyiv.

He commented on the emergency that was announced due to the spread of the deadly virus beyond China. The Organization is most concerned about the countries with a weak healthcare system.
