Today, on March 21, the test launches of Ukrainian missiles produced in cooperation of Ukroboronprom Company and the State Space Agency of Ukraine took place. This was reported by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov, the press service of the National Security and Defense Council said.

According to him, during the tests, the missile control system and the accuracy of targets hit at maximum range were checked.

"All the launches were successful, the missiles hit certain targets," the NSDC secretary said.

Turchynov also stressed that, thanks to the implementation of the missile program approved by the National Security and Defense Council, "since the fourth quarter of 2016, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have begun to receive powerful missile weapons capable of reliably performing complex combat missions."

Earlier, Ukraine successfully conducted the first test launch of a new model of rocket. Oleksandr Turchynov noted that this was a very important and large-scale stage of fire testing of Ukrainian-made missiles, in accordance with the objectives of the program approved by the National Security and Defense Council.
