Ten European states introduced a red level of danger due to anomalous heat, reports Eumetnet.
According to preliminary information, extreme weather conditions are registered on the territory of Italy, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Hungary, Romania, Poland, Switzerland and Slovenia.
It is also reported that the authorities of Spain, France, Greece, Macedonia and Bulgaria introduced an orange level of danger. In some areas of these states, the thermometer showed heat higher then 40 degrees.
In addition, according to the Guardian newspaper, at least two people died because of the abnormal weather conditions in Romania and Poland, dozens more are hospitalized. It is expected that the new wave of heat will last until Wednesday.
Earlier it was reported already 2 people died in Ukraine because of heat.
