Prankers have been calling families of military servicemen claiming that they were captured. The culprits demand ransom. Press office of the Security Service of Ukraine reported that on November 22.

"Lately, telephone fakers became more active again; they tell people that their son is captured. Such calls mostly reach the families of the military", reads the message.

The culprits usually call in the evening or in the night time in order to use the surprise factor. The wrongdoers may threaten people, raise their voices, demand ransom but they are not to be afraid of.
