Teachers and Education Staff will be vaccinated in Kyiv this week. For this purpose, 10 vaccination centers have been prepared in each district of the city. This was announced by the first deputy chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration Mykola Povoroznyk, the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration reported.
"In each district, an educational institution will be determined, on the basis of which a vaccination center will be created. School gyms are the most suitable for this purpose. The logistics of the vaccination session can be optimally practiced there. Each center will have 1 or 2 vaccination teams, depending on the number of people wishing to be vaccinated," Povoroznyk said.
Only employees of educational institutions will be vaccinated. According to Povoroznyk, the Kyiv City State Administration previously conducted a survey on consent to vaccination.
"And now we have a certain need for vaccines in the districts. All teachers who wish to be vaccinated will be warned about the place and time of vaccination," he said.
Educators will be vaccinated with Pfizer vaccines.
5,828 of these people received one dose of the vaccine, and 340 received two doses.
Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, a total of 1,147,581 vaccinations have been given. 1,021,804 patients received the first dose. Meanwhile, 125,777 people finished the immunization (received two doses).
