A crane for lifting the sunken tanker Delfi has already been found, and the work on lifting the vessel is significantly intensified. Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Krykliy said this, during a conference, chaired by President Zelensky, the press service of the President's Office reported.

"Minister of Infrastructure Vladislav Krykliy said that a crane has already been found to carry out the relevant work and today an agreement will be signed for the free lifting of the tanker," the message says.

The official also promised that the work on raising the vessel will be significantly intensified.

As we reported before, the tugs today were unable to lift the tanker Delfi that sank in Odesa. The operation will continue tomorrow.

According to him, the preparatory work to turn the ship over continued almost all day.

"The contractor was technically unable to implement its plan with the help of tugs. The operation will continue tomorrow. The shipowner still enjoys the right to independently raise the tanker," Odesa region governor Maksym Kutsy said.
