The General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces reported about the incident at Facebook on Thursday. The message says the plane went on fire while being on a landing strip. The pilot acted professionally and in good time; he ejected and survived, his health conditions are satisfactory. The fire onboard Su-25 was extinguished; the special commission conducts investigation to find out the ignition cause.
