It's been two days since Ukrainian tourists got stuck in the Italian city of Rimini, as they expect their flight home to Odesa. Join UP tourist company reported that, noting that the flight ANR5992 of YanAir company was supposed to take place on August 1, but was delayed for August 3 for technical reasons.
The tour operating agency provided the passengers of flight with accommodation and nutrition, and also a transfer from hotels to the airport, as soon as the plane is ready to depart. The agency also offered those expecting a flight from Odesa to Rimini (flight ANR5991) to depart on August 8.
In this particular situation, Join UP decided to shorten the route to decrease the load on the partner air companies. The tourists can re-book the flight or get 100-percent compensation of the sum they spent on it.
Earlier, Ukrainian tourists stuck at airports from the similar reasons; the cases were observed in Italy, Egypt and Spain.
Also, 300 Ukrainians were not able to fly out from Tunisia for several days. Earlier it was reported that planes of Bravo airlines do not fly out from Kyiv airport, where flights were delayed on Saturday and a few hundreds of tourists could not fly out to Antalya and Batumi.
The representatives of Bravo airlines explained that the cancellation of flights was connected with the tour operator’s debt in the amount of $961,5 thousand.
