Earlier, Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, said that sanctions would be imposed against some members of the Verkhovna Rada in the near future. He stated this on the air of Freedom of speech with Savik Shuster show.

Danilov did not give the names of the MPs, but noted that it would be "not a one-time action."

“I am sure that in the near future, sanctions will be introduced against a certain category of persons - both individuals and legal entities. Moreover, I can say with confidence that there will be a number of MPs who are sitting in the Verkhovna Rada today. We have more than enough arguments, to implement it. If someone thinks that this is some kind of one-time action, then he is deeply mistaken," said Danilov.
